I knew it was either D3 or NAIA.
For the average college football player, the transition from high school to college is a big one.
The first year, the average player adds 15 - 20 pounds of muscle to their bodies. The second year, another 5 - 10 pounds of muscle are added.
By their junior year, they might even get a chance to play.
This young lady looks to be a fine upstanding individual and I wish her well.
Having said that, her body will only be able to add 5 - 10 pounds of muscle for the entire 4 years that she is in college. Unless she resorts to steroids, which I doubt she will since she would not look good with a moustache.
Like Rudy in the movie, ‘Rudy’(wish I could have thought of that name), her coaches will only ever play her in certain situations. Those in which she is unlikely to get hurt.
It’s cool that she likes to play, but the reality is that there is a world of difference between HS and college and she will not be doing herself or her college any favors by taking the field...
This is crazy.
