How many thousands of Walmart trucks are out there and how many miles do they drive? More Leftwing anti-market garbage.

These stories would disappear if Walmart would only become union and quit selling guns, and join the team.

I don’t even think it’s the drivers doing the killing. Just the vicious Walmart trucks. The killing is deep in them.

BUT, the do have a whole bunch of trucks and a whole bunch of miles driven so they make for an easy target.
We are talking about Walmart, not Target. Don't change the subject!

Oh my god....let’s see how many USPS trucks were involved in accidents. Why not sue Mack, Kenworth, Peterbuilt or Freightliner?

I'm waiting for the big media outrage over all the American Citizens killed by illegal aliens driving (wait for it) illegally.

I was thinking along the same lines, curious to know how many of those “crashes” where the drivers were illegals.

So,
667 milion miles per year
(give or take)
9 deaths in two years....
667 million times 2 = 1,334,000,000
1,334,000,000/9 = 1 death per 148 million 222 thousand miles...give or take.
(Unless I got lost in the numbers- someone please double check my math)
I must be doing something wrong as this sounds incredibly low.

Actually, that’s not far off the typical 1.5 deaths per 100 million auto miles.

This so true! My brother has hauled a ton for Walmart and never worked for them. He hauled for USPS and never worked for them - it’s easier in some cases to let contractors handle the trucking.

*****************************
Back in early ‘80s, the wife of my neighbor across the street was a UPS driver. She only did it for about 4 months. She said it was brutal. The schedule was very strict and they had to deliver all packages within a certain amount of time. All of the UPS drivers had to break the speed limits.
I live in a relatively quiet residential neighborhood but still see UPS trucks driving 35-40mph on our short and winding streets that should be driven at no more than 25mph.
