Could The House impeach President Obama? Probably not.
Washington Post ^ | 6-17-2014 | AARON BLAKE

Posted on 06/17/2014 8:45:17 AM PDT by Citizen Zed

Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) wagered this week that the House could impeach President Obama if it wanted to, becoming the latest in a long line of congressional Republicans to float the "i" word. (His spokesman later clarified that Barletta isn't advocating such a thing, but that he truly believes the House would approve it.)

Is he right?

In short: Probably not.

I think Obama declared he cannot be impeached.

The house can impeach him but they can’t remove him.

Could Obama declare the House in recess and be backed by 50% of the country? Probably.

It was an executive order, wasn’t it?
:)

Anyway, the man with the teflon tan can do whatever he wants and no one will touch him.

What they should do is constantly bring up the articles for a vote, then declare that they are voting against the articles because of the futility of trying to impeach the first black president.

He deserves impeachment AND removal, but at this point removal won’t happen. Doing the first without the second would only gin up the libs base, nothing more, nothing less. The bamster would like nothing better than to have us go for impeachment right now.

I think Obama declared he cannot be impeached.

I think Boehner said he won't be.

The House won’t do zip in an election year. Wouldn’t be prudent.

Americans would rather wait it out than be called racists.

This whack-job argument by the author is based on the hope that nervous/seduced R leadership will continue to act as rino’s - that they will not succumb to what with proper charges laid out might well be substantial public outrage.

The “long line of congressional Republicans” needs to shut the f up
until throngs of Obama voters hit the streets with pitch forks and
torches, demanding his ouster.

Obama is setting all kinds of extremely dangerous precedents and will skate away scot free.

Since he will not be made to pay for his lawbreaking its just a matter of time before we lose any of our remaining Constitutionally guaranteed liberties.

The question isn’t, could the house impeach? The fact is only the house can impeach. The question is, will the house impeach? That answer is, probaly not.

Obama wants this to happen. He needs a crisis daily, it’s like whack-a-mole, you smack one and two more pop up.

The pure evil that motivates this homosexual, muslim, african despot marxist is simply breath-taking. I have never seen anything like it.

Bill Clinton is a piker compared to Odingo.

I’d be good with writing the articles and holding the hearings. then at vote time explain that because of his color, the vote is pointless. hard for the propaganda machine to ignore impeachment hearings. maybe the only way to delineate his crimes before the lo-info mob.

Spiritually speaking, this is why I believe that the American population is essentially demonized now. The strong delusion promised in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 to those who "receive not the love of the truth" is being fleshed out before us.

Patriots need to understand that, in order for a president to be impeached out of office, both Houses of Congress have to agree on impeachment. And Obama guard dog Harry Reid will fight tooth and nail to protect Obama.

This is why the 2014 elections are so important. Patriots and former Obama supporters need to elect new lawmakers to both Houses who will be willing to impeach him.

Skip impeachment, go for criminal charges, secure a special prosecutor, take it out of the hands of politics and congressional assignment.

Who said that? Someone did. Was it in Andrew McCarthy’s book, or explained by some attorney representative? I simply can’t recall.

Anyone?

I don’t know about being “demonized” just yet, but clearly, ejecting God from our homes, culture and institutions is proving the consequences before our very eyes, with the antidote of repentance no where in sight even in the, now, mostly milquetoast churches.

Criminal charges or a special prosecutor for all of the different scandals would be smart, but the DOJ isn't going to bring any up, and the bamster IS NOT going to allow a special prosecutor.

The smart thing would be to do what the rats did to Bush, simply repeat talking points over and over until people can remember them. The difference would be we'd simply have to repeat the truth.

We'd have to do an ad campaign over the heads of a media in the tank for the bamster, repeating the evidence in easy sound bites over and over again.

Without a coordinated effort nothing will happen. With a coordinated effort, it would be an all out scorched earth war we'd have to be prepared for.
