Although I personally believe that life begins at conception, I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church, in the doctor’s office or in the bedroom.

This is the default Democrat position for 2014: "While I think abortion is the murder of an innocent baby - why should I stand in the way of someone who want to kill their child?"

Is this dweeb for real? The government is already in our bedrooms and doctors’ offices. I hope the good people of LA get rid of this idiot.

The total lack of regard for a helpless baby will always befuddle me.

Landru: You will be absorbed. Your individuality will merge into the unity of good, and in your submergence into the common being of the body, you will find contentment, fulfillment. You will experience the absolute good.

Will she apply this rule to those on life support, such as kidney dialysis or in oxygen tents? Are we to start eliminating those cannot feed themselves next? Where is their line in the sand?

So murder is acceptable as long as you are not the one doing it? I have always thought that those who hold this position are the worst of the worst.

That means we can get rid of all the neonatal ICUs!

That'll save the feral government a LOT of our money that's in their pockets!

“I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church”

Is she helping those fighting against the HHS mandate? Is she vigorously speaking against it?

“in the doctor’s office”

Did she vote for ObamaCare?

“or in the bedroom”

Does she vote for funds for Planned Parenthood?
Does she vote for funds for sex education?
Does she vote for the gay agenda?

When government doesn’t work to protect innocent human life, government isn’t even doing its first duty.

No, it really isn’t, Scary Mary.

And by that logic, is it also okay to abort children, adults and seniors who can’t live outside of hospitals?

A shame her mother didn't use abortion as a choice.

NKJ
Matthew 7:

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because[a] narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

All these fools who think they can straddle the fence on abortion and still be Christians. They will not be among the “Few”.

What per cent of the people would equal a few?
50%? 40%? 30%? 20%? 10%? 3%? I was always taught that a couple was two, and three is a few. I would say 3%, but certainly not more than 10%.

Show me any baby that, all on it’s own, can live outside a hospital for more than about a week at best.

Ol’ Mary better be careful lest we apply the same standard to her when she gets old and infirm. You can see from Europe once abortion is accepted euthenasia is the next frontier for the death cultists.

RE: Although I personally believe that life begins at conception, I believe the last place the government needs to be is in the church, in the doctor’s office or in the bedroom

Does that mean government can’t force me to celebrate what two males and two females do in their bedroom?

“Although I personally believe that life begins at conception”

“I personally believe that the Holocaust was inhuman but if the Jews can't live inside the walls of Dachau we should keep all governments out of death camps” Sen Landrieu

Editor note: While supportive of (and very personally affected by) adoption, Landrieu has also been a strong advocate for abortion, with an abysmal 27% pro-life voting record.

Perhaps the editor should have also noted that Mary's campaigns have always been supported by EMILY's List - an organization that goes beyond mere "pro-choice" and truly advocates a pro-abortion agenda. They only back female candidates who are in full agreement with the stated beliefs of the organization.

so an artificial womb or a fetus transplant would mean an abortion would not be legal at that point?

IOOW if science makes viability outside the womb at 9 months then abortion is illegal? does she even think?

Politico has said that the key difference between Senator Landrieu and her opponent in this race, Bill Cassidy is that Landrieu is pro-abortion and Cassidy is pro-life.

This is a big deal in Pro-Life Louisiana, and folks need to harp on this.

There are more Republicans in the race, but Cassidy has the majority of the conservative vote. Landrieu appeals to the Democratic vote and some folks in Louisiana that have always leaned towards the Landrieu family...

What a truly sad view of life - that it exists only at the behest and sufferance of government officials. That when you are not useful to the collective, you should be disposed of. The (almost) ironic part of all this is that people with that attitude actually CAN look at themselves in the mirror every morning. The SS, Stazi, KGB, Khmer Rouge, and Planned Parenthood all believe they were/are doing the right thing. Disturbing, but true.
