I’d be more worried that you seem to be following Piers Morgan’s Twitter feed than what he calls the world’s most popular sport.

We could field a competitive soccer team with athletes from the NFL. The team chosen from the best of the Premier League couldn’t beat a Pop Warner team.
He should be lucky we call it soccer, it could have been called “ boring”.

Believe it or not, calling this specific game “soccer” or “football” is not consistent at all, it’s not just a U.S. thing where we’re different from everybody else just because.

I think its time Piers Morgan stopped lecturing Americans and met Jeremy Clarkson on the field of honor.
Since he’s telling us what to say, why can’t we tell him and other Britishers what to say? Tsk tsk, that word they use as slang for cigarettes...that should be banned. Piers, it’s time Britishers called cigarettes “cigarettes”.
I was in a restaurant last night, and the World Cup was featured on the TV over the sushi bar.
One of the athletes was severely injured and had to removed from the field on a backboard.
As there was no sound, i don’t know who it was or how it happened.
Anyway, Piersy Morgan should be working towards banning soccer because we know how much he hates violence and danger!/s
