Left Rear — 17 psi; Right Rear — 17 psi
Notes: Teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will run the same Goodyear tire code (D-4628) on all four tire positions at Sonoma . . . this is the first time teams will be running this code, which came out of a Goodyear test at Sonoma on March 25-26 . . . teams and drivers participating in that test were the No. 9 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford with Marcos Ambrose, No. 14 Stewart Haas Racing Chevrolet with Tony Stewart, No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota with Kyle Busch, No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet with Jeff Gordon and No. 55 Michael Waltrip Racing Toyota with Brian Vickers . . . compared to what was run at Sonoma last year, this tire features a compound change designed to give the cars more grip . . . as on all NASCAR road courses, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Sonoma.
