The total mass and energy of a particular universe must always be in balance, and will be one way or another.

The only way I can see of possibly being able to time travel would be to extract an equal amount of mass/energy from the time to be visited and transferred to the time being left, minus whatever energy was used in the transference of the two masses.

Every atom and sub atomic particle would have to be accounted for, because if they weren’t, an imbalance would occur that would be immediately corrected in a very violent manner.

Perhaps small imbalances of a few atoms of air or so would be acceptable as long as the energy of their destruction was nullified by a special suit or vehicle capable of withstanding the energy of dissolution........

That only applies to Republicans. Something tells me that the Democrats have actually run each election hundreds of times, and then go back in time to tell their ancestors how to run the current election that finally gets it right.

Otherwise, Obama would never have been elected in the first place, let alone have been reelected.

Time travel is a reality already. You reached this point in time by traveling from previous time. The trick would be to break free of the background time of this Universe. HOWEVER, I theorize that there are variable expressions of dimension Time, and that we have examples of things which remain in a past time until they interact with something moving through the background time ... like photons, which remain in the present of the source from which they are emitted, despite the source continuing to ‘move’ temporally in the background volume of dimension Time. We sense these photons and our brain does a neat trick, assembling a virtual reality of ‘present’ for our self, using these moments from past events, past from our temporal movement int he volume.
