Only room for one cat in our house.

My cat said so.

The first one I managed to pick out was Simon’s Cat.

That’s what our first one told us, until we had a stray decide to move into the house and have kittens. So now she has two feline housemates along with her two humans.

I posted a thread the other day about our belief that one of our rescue cats may have saved my wife from injury or worse a few nights’ back...fodder for another ad...”save a kitten’s life, and someday that kitten may return the favor”. What better reason to adopt a rescue today, especially if you are diabetic?

Oh wow, I guess I shouldn’t be typing that late at night and spell check didn’t get it.

As spelling errors go, it is kinda funny.

I’ think I would rather have bat-Prozac in Batman’s belt than little blue bat pills.

If you get my drift, (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

All my cats have been foundlings.

I have 4 in the house now and one outside.

Someone brought an 8 week old little one to me yesterday. Very sweet little guy who just wants to snuggle and purr. I hardened my heart and said we were taking him right to the shelter.

On the way I had a change of heart and decided to keep him. Only problem is he has ringworm.

Took him to the vet to get checked out, healthy except for the ringworm. He’s had a bath in Vet prescribed shampoo and cream on the ringworm spots. He’s staying in a large cage in the garage until all clear.

What’s one more cat when you already have a crew....

The first one I managed to pick out was Simon’s Cat.

I'm old school comic strip in my fictional cats, but of course I saw Simon's Cat, once more asking for food. But there's also:

Felix the Cat
Krazy Cat/Cicero's Cat
Bill the Cat (from Bloom County)
Top Cat
The Cat from Itchy and Scratchy (I don't watch Simpsons, so I don't know which he is)
Sylvester
Tom (of Tom and Jerry< with a finally dismantled Jerry next to him . . .Yay!)
Garfield
Nermal (from Garfield)
The cat from Ren and Stimpy (again, I know not which one)
Penelope (cat who looks like a skunk in Pepe Le Pew)
Bucky Katt (from the hilarious Get Fuzzy)
Cat from Mutts?
A couple of vintage Disney cats from their cartoons

I would have added Supergirl's cat Streaky, and DEFINITELY Rufus' kitty in Gasoline Alley (picture below).

Is the orange/red cat in the upper left Azrael from Smurfs? If so, the artist forgot about the bite out of one ear.

There are two of the Aristocats on the right (proud looking orange/red and small white, on the right), but no Heathcliff?

But what if Batman really needs the Bat-Pole?

My three are all former strays too. They know a sucker kind-hearted soul when they see one.
