I am working on a project to collect as many books as possible for a new library that opened on May 21 in Tuttle, Oklahoma. Tuttle is a tiny town of about 6,000 people west of OKC.
This library is operated and funded by volunteers. To my knowledge, they receive no public funding. The volunteers have worked incredibly hard to raise money for their location, books, and services.
If you're an author, or know of one, this would be a great way to get your book(s) on library shelves.

I don't live in Tuttle but am friends with a family who does. As well, I'm a lifelong bookaholic and would love to see this tiny library succeed.
If you could help with donations of any kind, that would be wonderful.
And, I hope this post here on Free Republic is okay with Jim.
What kind of books? I’m going to be moving and I have to get rid of some of mine,
Fiction? Non fiction? Scholarly books?
I have a lot of books that need a new home. Many are religious themed books, and one is my new novel available at amazon. Where can I send them?
Will get them in the mail tomorrow, signed copies, good for you for helping out!
For anyone mailing books, make sure to get media rates since they are much lower than standard postage.
If they have a desire for epic fantasy novels, I’m willing to send some of the books I’ve written. Let me know.
Tuttle, Oklahoma is in Grady County, where there seems to be a regional library and a few branches. Tuttle should ask for guidance in setting up their library and a formal request to be added on as a new branch, when public money allows.

Would you like science fiction and/or sci-fi horror? I’ve written both.
“Humanity’s Edge” could be in the juvenile section, as well.
They would love to add to their YA section, and any new/newer books would be welcome. Thanks!
