Anti-Gun Front Group Launches TV Ad Comparing Proper Firearm Storage to Sex Toys
Townhall ^ | Jun 26, 2014 | Katie Pavlich

The recently launched "gun safety" organization Evolve Together is out with a new television advertisement comparing the safe storage of sex toys to the storage of firearms.

Warning: explicit material.

Evolve Together is calling the TV spot "tongue-in-cheek" and an effort to use humor to promote gun safety. It will be released on cable and broadcast television networks and online.

“Our PSA is humorous, but the message is serious. Parents need to take ownership of safety in the house. If you don’t want kids to play with it, put it away - it’s up to you to keep your stuff locked up. We’re using humor to cut through political correctness and deliver a simple message. Americans can have a serious conversation about firearm safety that doesn’t devolve into a political abyss,” Evolve Together co-founder Rebecca Bond said in a statement.

They don’t know much about kids or parental authority either.

ONE;Kid know where everything is in a home. if you have sex toys or porn they know where it is no matter how well you think you’ve hidden it.

TWO: Back in the day my friends whose fathers had guns or tools that they forbade their kids from even thinking about touching would have cut off their own hands before they defied dad in the matter.

Silly liberals! The meaning of words, indeed reality itself is malleable to suit the needs and the agenda of the moment. I guess in this moment, sex toys are bad. Clearly, in other moments, sex toys are not bad. Indeed in some moments at schools run by liberals, sex toys are so good as to be a reward handed out in public.

For example:

Mad mom: School awards ceremony featured swearing, sex toys

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A Bellingham High School drama teacher has issued a formal apology after her awards ceremony devolved into an evening of profanity, jokes about a priest having sex with kids, and a box of sex toys. ...

if you have sex toys or porn they know where it is no matter how well you think you’ve hidden it.

Nowadays, any kid with access to a digital device (or to a friend with a digital device) has instant, free and unlimited access to the most explicitly graphic pornography imaginable.

No need to be snooping around the house for a parent's or older sibling's secret stash of printed pornography.

Wait, so liberals actually keep sex toys from their kids?

That’s news to me.

Except for cucumbers and condoms, so the kids can practice for school proficiency tests.

Besides the underlying ‘guns are icky and scary’ ploy trying to demonize those who want to preserve their Commonsense Civil Rights and have guns uselessly locked away when needed there is another meme being foisted upon us..

That we must keep ALL of our guns in one place….. anyone wonder why the Gun Grabbers are trying to brainwash us with that message?

Maybe they are subtly trying to tell their fellow travelers that they should keep all of their sex toys in one place.

That could be it, but in both cases it makes those ‘Tools’ far less useful…

Why not train the little kiddies to STAY AWAY from the gun unless Daddy’s there?
Train them to shoot when they are old enough?

It’s worked umpteen generations in my family.

The PROBLEM is the kiddies of CRIMINAL DRUG DEALERS and all their artillery, but we can’t talk about that. Not PC ‘n all don’cha know.

Just go after the honest citizens. They are the only ones who obey laws anyway.

The penalty for touching a firearm without permission - a good spanking plus banned from all guns for a year. My brothers and I never considered taking the risk of a ban. Getting permission to handle firearms - easy. We never had to wait more than a day if we asked (which happened very often).

The exact same rules I grew up under--and impose.

They are there, the kids know how to use them, but they also leave them alone.

My dad kept his long guns locked up in the gun cabinet. He said to us one time and I mean only one time “don’t touch the gun cabinet.” He kept his .38 detective special in a drawer in the nightstand by their bed. We would never have dreamed of going near it in a million years.
