1. to pour (wine or other liquid) gently so as not to disturb the sediment.
2. to pour (a liquid) from one container to another.
3. to rehouse (people) while their homes are being rebuilt or refurbished
Origin: 1625–35; < Medieval Latin dēcanthāre, equivalent to Latin dē- de- + Medieval Latin canth ( us ) spout, rim of a vessel ( Latin: iron band round a wheel < Greek kánthos corner of the eye, tire) + -āre infinitive suffix
History: 1630s, "pour off the clear liquid from a solution by gently tipping the vessel," originally an alchemical term, from Fr. decanter, from M.L. decanthare, from canthus "corner, lip of a jug," from Gk. kanthos "corner of the eye," on a perceived resemblance between the beaked lip of a jug and the corner of the eye.

It took me longer to walk from the parking lot to the ofc in the airport than it did for the interview. they took my pic, they took my fingerprints, they asked if i had ever been arrested for DUI or reckless driving, ever been convicted of a crime, where i worked, where i had traveled internationally in the past 5 years and why, and if i had any upcoming international travel. I walked in the door at home and checked and i was already approved.
it strikes me as more plausibly a suicide than a murder. an atty facing charges is going to have that weighing heavily. the taking and distributing a surreptitious pic of an alzheimer patient sounds beyond scummy and if he had a part in that, it was not going to be a good thing for him.
I always wonder what that guy behind her is thinking. His expression is somewhat funny.
Obama wants congress to give
Millions to the Syrian cause
To arm some hand picked rebels-

Three years ago, he wouldn’t
Give funds in secretive quiet-

So as not to provoke a riot
But no, let’s just uncork it-

Total insanity-does no one in congress realize all those tanks, rocket launchers, guns, etc actually are bought with OUR MONEY and so are actually just leased to someone else?

We ought to hide GPS trackers in all of our military equipment. That way, when our “allies” surrender our stuff to the terrorists, we’ll know exactly where those bastards are.

I’m willing to bet all that equipment comes with GPS-for the price, it certainly should-and if it goes missing, we need to track it to wherever it is and send either armed drones or bombers with pissed off military pilots at the controls...

Probably but in politics you just never know. And yes, it was a dirty deed to even involve the wife.
I spent my day driving to and from Memphis to decant my child from college. She had a wonderful time and it was nice to see all the kids sad to say goodbye to each other. We drove through monsoons on the way home, which always makes the drive seem longer, so I am glad to be home, with all under one roof again. :)
