My David tends to hang onto stuff, as well...especially if it has anything to do with electronics.

TOL, do you like The Twilight Zone? I bought the complete set for David for Christmas one year. It has episodes we never saw on TV.

Oh! I can’t believe that I forgot we have The Twilight Zone!
We have the entire series, and we actually remembered a lot of the episodes from 45 years ago. ;-)
I forgot to mention that we have Streets of Fire on a laser disc. There isn’t a song in that movie
that we didn’t like. “Sorcerer” was one of my favorites, but they’re all great.

Yep, that Twilight Zone series is a treasure to own. I remember first seeing it back during the ‘80s, when it would come on late night TV. I’ll never forget the feeling of being blown away by “Will The Real Martian Please Stand Up.”

Martin is the most common last name in France. Sort of like Smith or Jones here.
Stevie’s voice is easy to make out, even when it’s in the background. Love it.

LOL! I got in trouble in high school for having my hair “back-combed and lacquered.”
Tee hee! The nuns had hissy fits over that 1960’s hair.
But I was always getting in trouble for some silly, petty, minor transgression or other.
Oh, I was such a good little girl when I was in school. I never had any fun, LOL!

By the time I was 7 years old, all of the rest of my immediate family were adults. That can really mess you
up if they like to tease children, make them cry, and tell them they are stupid.
My relatives were all older, too. My parents were in their forties when they had me. My cousins were adults when I was born. (First cousins, anyway).
I just don’t understand how someone would get pleasure from making a child cry-—least of all family! How awful, TOL. That kind of treatment during childhood is very hard to shake off and outgrow.
So, so mean.
The millenials and kids today can't relate to westerns since it has never been a part of their culture. And that's sad.
The most recent westerns, Lonesome Dove and Broken Trail with Robert Duval were excellent.......
It has been 60 years since then, and they are all gone except my oldest sister, who is 80.
I am doing a bit better now. ;-) Life with Bryan and the kitties is good.

I had my own issues during childhood and the teenaged years. They shaped how I thought and it took a long time to restructure that...I’m still not all the way there. But it IS true that a good, loving husband & soulmate is a healing balm.
(Kittehs, too, naturally).
