FULL TITLE: Shocking footage shows Israeli police savagely beating American teen cousin of Palestinian boy, 15, burned alive in revenge attack over death of three Jewish youths
The 15-year-old American cousin of a Palestinian teen who was abducted and killed in Jerusalem was beaten and jailed by Israeli police in what relatives say was 'attempted murder'.
Tariq Khdeir, a student at the Universal Academy of Florida, an Islamic school in Tampa, is the cousin of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, who it is claimed was burnt to death by Israeli extremists in a revenge attack on Wednesday.
Tariq's parents, Suha and Salah, told the Associated Press that their son was beaten by police during clashes on Thursday ahead of the funeral and that he was detained.
An Israeli police spokeswoman said that Tariq Abu Khdeir had resisted arrest and attacked police officers.

It almost seems as if he's taken racial animus and EPA wars against coal and ranchers as far as he can. The border invasion is his new toy to abuse us with.

Well, this should not have been done. I know we don’t know both sides of the story, and I tend to side with Israel, having visited there 4 times now. However, someone should remember how everything done by Israel is inspected with a finetooth comb, and to realize that there would be public reactions way over the top. Israel needs to start filming what really happens so they can debunk the lies. (Reminds me of the conservatives who get blamed for making non-existent racist remarks, etc.) One cannot win the PR war with no facts to prove the lies.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure my father would have whipped me with a vengeance had I done anything like that as a teenager if anything for being stupid.

My sentiments exactly. Every now and again, some
Americans get arrested in places nobody in their
right mind would visit. Why were the three Jewish teenagers hiking in the West Bank? Have you tried the Appalachian Trail? Or the boys backpacking in Iran who were arrested and held for months? We’re they and their parents out of their minds? The list is lengthy, but they never learn. I won’t even let my kid go to beach week, let alone a Third World cesspool crawling with troglodytes.
I don’t condone or condemn anything unless I know the facts. But the policeman controlling that riot had 15 of their men injured. If they thought this kid was responsible for injuring one of theirs they are not going to give him a pass. A slingshot is a deadly weapon and if the kid carries that to a riot, what does he think is going to happen?

Well, they’ve now arrested a bunch of “Jewish extremist” suspects, so we’ll see how this pans out.
