When I worked for an Israeli company all of my Israeli coworkers knew somebody who had been killed by a terrorist. They were not as affected by violence as we are. It’s a daily occurrence. (Their corporate politics is so brutal I did a college paper on it. There are scientific studies of Israelis having their boss killed to take his job.) If there were no reaction from the Israeli side they’d be saints. Instead they have extremists but in this case their extremists were made by the enemy. I’m inclined to cut them some slack. Actually, I’d cut them so much I’d say go to war. Defend yourselves.
Palestinians are very good at changing the focus back to them..this kid was murdered by his own family for being gay..but they knew that once the blamed Israel for it, the media would change the subject instead of focusing on the Israeli teens who were murdered by Arab scum, they instead talk about this kid
The title, by calling it a revenge attack, assumes something that has not been proved. I usually respect the Daily Mail, but this is irresponsible. Journalism 101 fail.

Well, this should not have been done. I know we don’t know both sides of the story, and I tend to side with Israel, having visited there 4 times now. However, someone should remember how everything done by Israel is inspected with a finetooth comb, and to realize that there would be public reactions way over the top. Israel needs to start filming what really happens so they can debunk the lies. (Reminds me of the conservatives who get blamed for making non-existent racist remarks, etc.) One cannot win the PR war with no facts to prove the lies.

I don’t condone or condemn anything unless I know the facts. But the policeman controlling that riot had 15 of their men injured. If they thought this kid was responsible for injuring one of theirs they are not going to give him a pass. A slingshot is a deadly weapon and if the kid carries that to a riot, what does he think is going to happen?
