That was my thought. There is no bright side that I can see, at least not for Americans. For the illegal leeches, yes.
Was going to say exactly that. Everything illegal is on the dark side by default. And there are no cookies.
No, not even for them. At least real leeches can swim away and find new hosts. There won’t be anywhere for these to run if they kill this host.
My first thought also. Organizing and tabulating the obvious disadvantages of ILLEGAL CRIMINAL acts is a natural given. Ascribing the nature of a “Dark Side” is superfluous, implying that there is a “Light Side.”

Well, we know the liberal view.
The liberal view is that we are a nation of immigrants, so because of our history of legal immigration, we are supposed to allow illegal aliens free access to America. We are not supposed to consider the major impacts or costs of public services, public education, law enforcement, healthcare, etc. that critical masses of illegals create.
We’re just supposed to be liberal. Part of being liberal is not to consider the real world impacts of liberal policies.

Have we ever decided to create an agricultural policy which depends on illegal aliens? Or have we just allowed such a situation to fester? Would be good to question who benefits from cheap illegal alien farm labor. We may all pay lower prices for food, but pay the price for this in other ways.
The same is true in construction, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance work, in which illegals have gained a foothold.
