WHAG NEWS - A Hedgesville high school teacher is facing sexual assault charges accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office confirmed Erin Thomas is charged with third degree sexual assault and two charges of computer harassment.
Officials say the 31-year-old allegedly had a relationship with a female student that began last year when she was a Freshman.

cmon smartasses, tell me how awesome it is when a kid gets to score with a teacher? tell me how not guilty the male teacher is. tell me how lucky the teen girl is. don’t you know the male teacher is really in love with the girl? you know like how you talk about it being different when it’s a female teacher?
it’s never okay, regardless of the mix. these are adults in positions of power over these kids, that also grade them. they are not there to satisfy their adult sexual appetites. school isn’t open season for sexual predators that happen to teach kids as well. if they were your kids or nieces and nephews it would not be funny to you to crack jokes.

Well one day I was being knocked around by bullies and of my teachers kissed me on the lips in front of the whole class. She was really pretty.She made my day....heck 40 years later I’m still gratefull.
