Drivers traveling on a busy Bucks County, Pennsylvania, road on Friday had to navigate an unusual obstruction -- a gurney carrying a corpse.

A Bucks County Coroner's Office van was traveling down the 100 block of E. Street Road in Lower Southampton, Pennsylvania, around noon when the vehicle's rear door malfunctioned, the coroner's office confirms. The body then rolled out of the van and onto the road near the Bucks Crossing Shopping Center.

Cop: What did he die of? Coroner: Multiple abrasions, broken bones and tire tracks. Oh, by the way he was 99 years old.

A funeral procession is going up a steep hill on main street when the door of the hearst flies open and the coffin falls out then speeds down main street into a pharmacy and crashes into the counter. The lids pops open and the deceased says to the astonished pharmacist, “You got anything to stop this coffin ?”

Ba-Dump-Dump! Thanks! I’ll be here all week! Try the veal and don’t forget to tip your Waitress. :)

So in other words, someone smarter than a Democrat rolled out onto the street.

“There’s”

‘There’s” (there has) is perfectly appropriate.’

It doesn’t work in this case because the verb needs to agree with “stories”, which is plural. (I.e.: “There’s been stories”) You can see the issue by rearranging the structure, but keeping the same noun & verbs:

Stories has been going around [verb/noun disagreement]

Stories have been going around [verb/noun agreement]

Book recommendation alert:

Anybody who has read the most excellent (and very funny) Stephanie Plum (she’s a bounty hunter) books by Janet Evanovich will recognize this as business as usual. Bodies fall out of caskets, from the tops of cars, and no doubt a hearse now and then.

At times, this happens courtesy of Stephanie’s grandma, who attends viewings to get a look at the deceased and partake of the refreshments. Grandma also packs whenever she can, and wouldn’t hesitate to use it. Read them in order, if possible, beginning with “One For The Money”.

And this is opposed to a live body falling out of the coroners vehicle?
