Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he: assists an illegal alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or encourages that illegal alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens:
It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation, any illegal alien who is in the United States in violation of law. Harboring means any conduct that tends to substantially facilitate an alien to remain in the U.S. illegally. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.
We need to get this to Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins at the big protest this week.
I saw on Fox News that the evil scum bags in the ACLU, have filed a law suit to make sure each illegal alien gets a tax payer funded lawyer. I guess the law suit should be thrown out, because it sounds like it would be a felony to help them.
Good find.

Your cite only says some of what is claimed. Do you have other cites?
we have no laws
only cute guidelines to inflict on your political enemies when convenient
if we had laws, the law stated above would be used to arrest and jail many in the administration, as they’ve encouraged illegals to stay ... and helped get them here in the first place
From the "Criminal Resource Manual" on the DOJ US Attorney website [ http://www.justice.gov ]:

- Title 8, U.S.C. § 1324(a) defines several distinct offenses related to aliens....

.
- Encouraging/Inducing -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense for any person who -- encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.
- Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) expressly makes it an offense to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid or abet the commission of the foregoing offenses.
Sherrifs should start impounding the buses used to transport them and arrest the drivers and organizers for breaking the law. That would slow things down!
Silly people....don’t you know the law is what Obama says the law is now?
Now back in the mine.....shovel....dig...push that cart...
With the war on drugs won, er..over ... er surrendered, this should be the new focus of the asset seizure area.
I have read that it is only a misdemeanor to for an illegal alien to cross the border, but it’s a felony to interact with them? So, we excuse the criminal and blame Americans. Time to change the law and make it a felony to cross our borders illegally.
Laws are only effective if you have the power to enforce them. When the lawbreakers and the lawmakers are one and the same there is essentially no law.
U.S. Constitution, Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, AND SHALL PROTECT EACH OF THEM AGAINST INVASION.
Those are Osama Obama's middle names, aren't they?
You silly, silly person.Haven't you received the e-mail? They're here to strengthen the rich fabric of our great nation's multicultural, immigrant tapestry!
If only people aiding illegals would be prosecuted. But I don’t see it happening. If the Feds don’t want local law enforcement to enforce this law then why should they enforce ANY federal law? In fact, the state should expel all federal law enforcement personnel since they aren’t doing their jobs anyway.
Thanks for looking up the official citation, Ray. No, I don't have any further citations. I just happened to run into the excerpt above in the comments at Breitbart.
Thank you for posting the link to the legal text, DR.
