Neil Young had caught flack from Pinko Floyd for daring to perform in Israel (the uber Left has called for a boycott).
Given the propensity of Hamas to indiscriminately lob missiles into Israel, I don’t see how Pink Floyd’s leftist insanity plays into this.
Neil Young committed to play, but decided not to given the security situation. That appears to be a prudent decision on their part.
