A Miami cop pulled someone over last month on a routine traffic stop, but the ensuing mess resulted in an internal investigation because it turns out the man this police officer pulled over was actually a higher-ranking officer in the same police department. Officer Marcel Jackson pulled over Lieutenant David Ramras and things got intense really quickly.
In a video captured on Jacksons GoPro camera, you can see them fighting and Jackson forcing Ramras to the ground. Other officers nearby run up to....(video at link)

>> He is a cop therefore he is exempt from the law[s].
The arrogance depicted in the excerpt is loathsome.
Apparently, the officer that was stopped was only going 9 mph over the speed limit. If that’s true, something was going on there nobody is talking about.
As for the black cop, good thing for him he had the GoPro camera, it will ultimately save his job.
As for the K-9 unit cop who pulled up to the scene, what's with the ball cap worn backwards? That should be a uniform violation, if there is such a thing in the PD......
My dad retired as an Executive Lieutenant from the Detroit Police Dept. back around 1978. When he died back in 2001, I distinctly remember meeting a gentleman who came to the viewing wearing black workshoes that were spit shined. When he offered his condolences to me, I said "you were one of dad's cops weren't you" He said yes......
Dad was a WW-II marine, then a Mich. State grad. then an Army MP officer in Germany in the early 1950's.....Then he joined the DPD.
Up until he retired, I will always remember him watching TV before supper, spit shining his shoes.......this even carried over during his second career as a Chief park ranger at one the Detroit metro parks...........Dad was a stickler for dignified uniform maintenance.
As for the gangsta style ball cap on the K-9 cop, the reason I took notice and mentioned it is because I remember one weekend when mom and dad had the family over for dinner and my then teenage nephew showed up and walked into the house wearing a ball cap. He learned a lesson from dad on where it was appropriate to wear a cap..........My nephew never again repeated his mistake.
These cops are so well organized they brought along a dog to shoot - K9 unit on right. I hope Bosco knows what a short career he has ahead of him.
wrong guy?
Your dad was a wonderful man. Thanks for sharing some of your memories of him.

Great stories. Thanks for telling us about your dad. Good man.
I agree.
Pink shirt should be out of a job. How the hell is the traffic cop supposed to know who he is - not that it should matter. If you are dumb enough to open the door of your car and confront a traffic cop you are too dumb to be wearing a police uniform.
Yes he was, as was my grandfather who was also a Detroit police officer.....Thank you very much.
Thank you
More Keystone Kops antics from officers who increasingly seem more like really, really bad comedians these days than law officers.
This looks really fishy, possibly a set-up. A regular patrol cop pulls another cop over for speeding. He just happens to have his own camera in his car, and he just happens to turn it on so as to record the stop. He supposedly was having to chase the vehicle because the driver was not stopping. Yet, the cop says the driver pulled over after two blocks. How can that be a chase?
Then within seconds of an altercation beginning between cop and driver, several police car mysteriously appear out of nowhere, all screeching to a stop. Come on. Even a city like NYC with so many police would not be able to get several squad cars to a scene almost instantly.
This guy works in Internal Affairs. Just maybe, someone was not happy with one or more of his internal affairs investigation rulings.
no clue, CdMGuy, one would think the pursuing party would run the tags during that two blocks at least?
That was the K-9 unit that pulled up next to Jackson...
If you noticed , the dog never got out of the car. Probably didn’t want to get shot...
There’s another link that is a better source, imho.

Lieutenant David Ramras needs some anger management classes and a job stocking Twinkies at Circle-Ks.
Yup, but I have NO idea how that happened.
It was a reply to post 24 by glorgau, how in the world did it end up going to you?
I love that movie.
