$35k is barely above the price of the $32k average car.
In a SHTF situation, you can’t even barter, borrow or steal electricity unless it’s with a generator and some gas.
So, you are stuck. It’s just easier to BBS the gas than it is to BBS gas for a generator.

Cars that start at $35k are indeed entry-level luxury cars. Cadillac, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Infinti, Volvo, Mereces, all have vehicles that start there or less.
I’m actually stunned that there are so many vehicles sold in the $70k-$100k range.
The fact is that $22k cars frequently come with $10k add-ons.
“Average” includes all those upscale vehicles too.
