A Saudi court sentenced two local women to 10 days in prison and ordered them lashed 10 times each after they were found guilty of swearing at each other on WhatsApp.
The judge at the court in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah tried to reconcile the two but they refused and insisted on charging each other.
“The judge had no choice but to sentence the two and make them write a statement not to abuse each other again,” Arar daily said, adding that it was the first verdict of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
That’s F’d up.

Women don't get publicly beaten, EVER, no matter what they do.
There IS a women's prison over there and maybe she will be lashed while she in prison. But NO public lashing of women takes place there.
ALSO she would NOT get lashed for anything she said or wrote. That she can read and write tells you she is from a wealthy family and wealthy families, wherever they are, don't punish their women like that. They send them to treatment spas.
She wouldn't even get lashed for adultery. They treat their women differently, like children, really, and do NOT hold them responsible for things the way the West does. I don't like THAT aspect of it but that is why women will NEVER, EVER get their right to vote...if there were elections, which there are not.
I know the way the Saudis treat their women as I lived and worked over there, in Ras Tanura, for five long years.
Families keep a tight rein on EVERYONE.
Men work. Women run the home BUT now have their own businesses...women's banks, run BY women FOR women only. It's bizarre but it works for them.
Still more Moslem barbarism.
For some real fun, the judge should have sentenced them to a variation on the old teen game where you trade hits. Have them flog each other with alternating strokes.
I guarantee each will start out with an easy stroke, but somewhere along the way one will decide that the other hit much too hard and will retaliate in kind—and so on into a war of escalation.
Sometimes, islamatards can be surprisingly funny.
