LORAIN, Ohio — An elementary school teacher has been charged with possession of child pornography according to Steven M.Dettelbach, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio.
Edward A. Dembiec, 53, of Lorain, Ohio, was charged Friday after a lengthy investigation that found Dembiec possessed the “criminal information on or about October 1, 2008, through May 5, 2013.”

Ugh. Most elementary school teachers are not perverts. But you have to be on your guard with teachers, coaches, principals, etc.
I was a summer camp counselor when I was in college. There was a counselor who several coworkers thought needed to be watched around young children. So we all watched him. Meanwhile, there was another counselor who seemed like a nice guy who enjoyed working with children. Ugh. And Eww. I recently found out that the latter “nice guy” is in prison for child molestation and other disgusting things.
I just bet that the ones you think you need to watch are okay. The ones you think you don’t need to watch are the ones you do.
