Had a painful morning so I took a nap forgetting all about you all. I hope no one got in trouble out in the halls today waiting for the classroom door to open.
hope the afternoon is less painful :(
Actually, that is how I met my husband -- hovering over a radiator waiting for the HS doors to open. 55 years later...I hope our HS students from our Parish (St. Francis Borgia of Cedarburg) have been behaving themselves in Tioga Center this week. There should be 40 of them (including adult sponsors) helping on projects there.
The nose on last night’s Cabernet Franc was redolent of lavender.
I wish they could take your pain away. Time and patience will take care of it.
I found a book yesterday, the lead character was on his way to double knee replacement surgery as the book opened. I am not at all sure if it’s wise to be reading this at this time. LOL I keep drifting off to my own memories.
Woke up with no pain! Just put an ice pack on it, took no meds.
Is this the week? Maybe they will be at mass Saturday night.
A+++ You mean bottoms up don’t ya?
Pain is much briefer and shorter these days, no pain meds since Saturday night when my leg swelled up last.
Good to hear your second wake up is better!
It *was* getting pretty redolent out in the hallway while waiting to get into the classroom (names withheld to protect the innocent ;)
Sorry that you’re still hurting out there, take it easy & rest up
It is hot here - I need some photos of paradise.... XS, are you “spa-ing” this week???
I suspect they may be gone by Sat. night. They left our parish last Sunday. Maybe they’ll still be there. They’ve worked very hard to pay for this trip, and their last fund raiser (a car wash) was rained out. We’re still eating soup that I boought from them earlier in the year. They make great soup and sell to to the parish. I always buy several quarts to stock my freezer. I assume that it is their mothers who are making the soup. LOL.
When I wrote “last” Sunday, I meant Sunday the 13th.
We got this starting today. Maybe not "paradise" but it's a happy site.
Andre Johnson has been a hold out all summer fir the Texans....reportedly showed up for first day but i have no faith in management to keep him happy
After the Texans’ last year, no one should be acting all that.
So true - sadly we had such hopes for them
