AN aspiring glamour model has defended her decision to sell tickets to the birth of her third child for a total of £30,000.

Josie Cunningham, who hit the headlines when she had a £4,800 breast enlargement on the NHS to help her pursue her career, said that the sale of the tickets was better than claiming benefits.

The mother-of-two yesterday revealed that she had sold four tickets to the birth – two priced at £5,000 and two at £10,000, which include permission to film and take photographs.

A deal to sell DVDs of the occasion in a pound store fell through, leaving Ms Cunningham "gutted".

One of the tickets has been sold to a "super fan" while the other three have reportedly been snapped up by journalists.

According to Ms Cunningham, the tickets sold out in 14 minutes.

Paul Mills-Ash, 29, is Ms Cunningham's so-called "super fan".

He told the Daily Mirror: "I've followed Josie's career since she first came into the public eye. I'm using my savings to buy a £5k ticket.

"It's a lot of money but it's worth it. It'll be great to say I was at the birth in years to come."

It's not much different to One Born Every Minute. They'll not be sat down there with a camera Josie Cunningham The 24-year-old claimed that allowing stranger to film and photograph her giving birth is "not much different" to Channel 4 show One Born Every Minute.

Ms Cunningham, who has two sons aged three and six, told ITV's This Morning the idea "came to my mind and it's a good way to pay back to the NHS."

"It's not much different to One Born Every Minute. They'll not be sat down there with a camera.

"I will have someone for protection. People will be vetted."

Ms Cunningham promised to pay back the NHS for the breast enlargement operation and to refund Leeds Council, who gave her free taxi rides to take her children to school after she claimed to be suffering anxiety attacks.

She angered many earlier this year when she tweeted a picture of herself earlier with the caption: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but tax payers [sic] will always fund me."

She insisted that selling the tickets was better than "sitting at home and claiming benefits".

She said: "I've worked from being 15 and there have been times I've had to claim benefits.

"I'm carving out a stable career for my kids - that's far from a scrounger.

"I feel grateful to be in a position at the moment being able to be a lone parent and know in myself that I have some stability there."

This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford suggested that some people might view Ms Cunningham as a "fame-hungry attention seeker" and she has brought on the anxiety herself.

She retorted: "I'm not bothered that people talk about me. I thrive off it, to be honest.

"My anxiety comes form people confronting me and speaking to my children.

"They should refrain themselves when there's children around."

Earlier this year Ms Cunningham said that she was planning to have an abortion because being pregnant would ruin her chances of appearing on reality show Big Brother.

She later changed her mind and the baby is now due in October.

Ms Cunnginham attracted widespread criticism when she admitting to smoking and drinking while pregnant.

She also weighed in with her own views on the late Peaches Geldof's struggle with drug addiction and tweeted: "an addiction to drugs is the result of a s*** choice you made whilst being a parent, feeling sorry for her 'addiction' is pathetic!"

Ms Cunningham also runs a dating site for "average looking" people, called Pull The Pig.

This is the same woman who said she deliberately smoked and drank when she found out she was pregnant with a son, not a daughter. She regrets not having an abortion because it is a boy.

She sells tickets to see her give birth? I imagine she would also sell tickets to be the one to impregnate her.

No Thanks.

I guess the taxpayer should be thankful that this lazy layabout isn't sucking on the public teat, but does it ever dawn on these people that they should doing an honest day's work for a living rather than looking for a way to get over on society?

If you can find a buyer, more power to you. If a fool wants to part with his/her money to witness something, give them a receipt and smile.
