After months of getting prompts to update my Adobe Flash player I finally did so a few days ago . Yesterday discovered that I can no longer listen to KSFO , WMAL or WABC online - won't download . Worked fine before updating . I'm using Internet Explorer . Is there some setting in AFP that I need to check or uncheck ? It's in Japanese so I'll need the wife to take care of this when she gets up . Thanks in advance !
I just went to the WABC feed at TuneIn and listened in. It works for me.

Try that
Not able to copy text in settings window .
Japanese Dell uses Chinese characters? Why not Japanese ones?
Wiil give this a try when the wife gets up because as I said it’s all in Japanese . Thanks .
Japanese “ characters “ are Chinese charcters , plus in Japanese there are 2 other writing systems - katakana and hiragana .
sounds very inefficient and confusing
They should adopt English, lol.
They should adopt English, lol.
you mean Engrish
Hiragana ( 45 symbols ) is used to write native words for which there are no kanji . Katakana ( 45 symbols ) is used to write foreign words . Japanese use a hell of a lot less Chinese characters than the Chinese do , hence the need for hiragana and katakana . Everything is China is written with Chinese characters and they use mainly 4000 . Japanese use hald that many .
I forgot to mention that I am able to listen to WMAL podcasts but not the station itself , or any other station for that matter .
I never update software that works fine anymore.
I made that mistake with Skype some years ago, then found out that all the great features that were once free, were now paid with the updated version; such as screen sharing.
B@stards.
You might check out Radio?Sure. It is a standalone application that connects to many radio stations.
Freeper Alternative Techie Input as to what to use?
As a tech side bar, their is a Palemoon beta browser for Android phones ( this is the alternative to Firefox ) and it is wicked fast..
Please try this...http://www.palemoon.org/
I have been playing around with Palemoon on my laptop. I had tried it a couple of years ago and had problems.
However, I read that their 32-bit version is more compatible with the Firefox extensions than their 64-bit. So, I downloaded it. So far, most of my extensions/add-ons work great with Palemoon 32-bit portable.
Adobe Flash Player is pretty much the equivalent of a virus, in my opinion.
I keep getting “Update FireFox” did it once last year (lost everything) ... like an idiot did it again yesterday and came up with 7 Malwares and AVG walked me through the 4 hours of getting my pute back ... never again
TT
