Germany’s high-tech isolation wards remained on alert on Friday, ready to receive Ebola patients should they be required to. German airports seemed less prepared for the potential dangers of the viral epidemic, however.

Hamburg’s University clinic Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) said on Friday it remains prepared and ready to take Ebola patients from the outbreak in west Africa, despite not expecting any in the immediate future. […]

The infectious Ebola virus has killed 672 people in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea since February in the world’s largest ever recorded outbreak of the disease.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is still struggling to gain control of the virus for which there is no vaccine and no cure.

The current outbreak of Ebola, which started at the beginning of this year, has killed 55 percent of those it has infected. …

It may be tinfoil hat, but its looking like they are trying to spread this crap all over the world. How many “accidents” will be had?

Is it just me or does this seem like a real bad idea?

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

I have been thinking the same thing, the first reports said these outbreaks started in cities when they usually start in the jungle villages, that in itself smells. The article I read said there were 3 cities it started in at roughly the same time. My question is, why would the CDC allow anyone who might be infected on American soil? Only makes sense if your goal is to spread it.

Read a piece this morning by a doctor harshly critical of allowing infected patients in the US.

IMHO, if treatment in the US made a life or death difference, it might be worth the risk, but Ebola patients have such a small chance of survival — keep them the F out of the US.

You see pics of docs and nurses dressed head to toe in stuff supposed to be imperious to germs, wearing masks and you have to wonder how is it spreading? What about the sewage and waste from treatment, what if one sewage worker is exposed somehow, what then?

The only place they’re not sending ebola is the Middle East.

No, send the US treatment and three volunteer medical personnel over there.

Mostly, the medical staff are NOT wearing protective clothing anything like what would be used in a specialized U.S. facility. Basically long raincoat-looking jackets, gloves, plastic boots and masks. Some doctors in rural clinics do not even have the gloves. Definitely not the sealed, airtight gear available here. But then, if a large number of cases presented we’d be overwhelmed also.

Seems to me that the people with the most experience at dealing with this disease are in Africa. This stinks to high heaven.

I didn’t know that, every pic I have seen shows the complete suit and masks with filters. I think I heard that this stuff is carried by bodily fluids. Any possibility that it might be spread in the air?

Doesn’t it just seem like the perfect storm, all these very bad things happening at the same time? Some hand is behind this or something’s hand.

Yeah, I just saw a photo minutes ago like I described but can’t seem to re-locate it. Only the most sophisticated and foreign-financed facilities will have the better gear you’ve seen.

Thanks for the info. Don’t pigs have many physical traits in common with man?

Seems I must hurry and buy my bacon rubbed ammo in preparation for the coming Muzzie invasion. Been practicing with my machete too. You never know.

If the gear works, I was doubting it because of the pics, maybe they can contain this killer. This is not necessary and if I was one of the victims and could I would refuse to come to the US. Luckily only thing I have to spread is crazy and that is hard to give to others.

If you haven’t read the book yet, please do.

Count how many times protocol was broken and innocent people were exposed to a potentially deadly level 4 virus.

“How many “accidents” will be had?”

I am still trying to understand how two American health care workers were exposed and became ill, despite extreme PPE and decon protocols. There is something very wrong in the current narrative. It’s what’s not being discussed that always concerns me.
