A MANS life has been saved by his unborn daughter after he discovered that sympathy pains with his pregnant partner were in fact symptoms of advanced testicular cancer.
Adrian Tinsley, 32, suffered from nausea and back pain at the same time as his fiancee Bethann Meakin, who was heavily pregnant with their daughter Scarlett.
Expecting to be told he was suffering sympathy pains, he was horrified to find out that he had had cancer for five years.
Mr Tinsley, a delivery driver from Stoke-on-Trent, said: If it hadnt have been for Scarlett, wed never have found the cancer. When I woke up in agony, we just thought I was having Bethanns contractions from the night before.
The couple laughed it off until a week before Ms Meakins due date when Mr Tinsley woke up in the middle of the night with agonising back pain.
We went from being excited at having our first baby to the realisation I might end up a single mum Bethann Meakin Mr Tinsley said: I was in so much pain we went straight to the hospital. As soon as we mentioned both symptoms together the doctors rushed me to get checked.
Doctors found three tumours and three days later he was taken to Birmingham to start chemotherapy. Ms Meakin, 21, said:The diagnosis turned our world upside down.
We went from being excited at having our first baby to the realisation I might end up a single mum.
Fortunately, Scarlett is only 10 months old and doesnt know whats wrong with her daddy.
The couple got engaged in July 2012 but decided to delay the wedding until Scarlett could walk. They will now wait to tie the knot until Mr Tinsley gets the all-clear.
This couple remains fully into procrastination. Physical exam: postponed, Wedding, now twice postponed.
‘Owww my balls!’
A friend of mine, in his forties, recently found out he had testicular cancer. It’s more common than we tend to think.

That may be the stupidest thing I have read in a while....
I seriously doubt anyone even with one functioning brain cell knows that....
The whole world is nothing but white trash.
I thought that in England it took five years to schedule a doctor’s appointment for a checkup anyway!
