and aren’t trucked hundreds of miles across the country or the world.

You only eat foods grown in your area?

I'm not sure where you live, but you eschew oranges, or bananas, for example?

Not to mention that any banana you eat anywhere is genetically modified (and contains uranium). Wild bananas are inedible and full of seeds.

“You only eat foods grown in your area?”

Bingo, a spear of reality punctures the liberal bs only eat locally raised food.

We have an excellent farmers market, and about 80-90% of the produce and other products come from more than the 25-30 miles of artificial limit for consumption set up idiots who hate other people..

Our county has a population of about 200,000 and only a dozen or so small farms which raise produce on a limited basis and 2 ranches which produce meat for the local market.

We have some real farmers and ranchers in our extended family, and they have told us that the ranches and farms in our county might be able to produce enough total food for a maximum of 5,000 people during our growing season. Which means 195,000 people would go hungry and starve if we went on only total locally raised produce and meat.

Also, the local produce and meats cost anywhere from double to triple the cost from Safeway/Lucky and more than that from the two locally owned grocery stores. This would eliminate a large % of the people in our county being able to buy the higher price produce and meat.

Even in California we have winters which have frost and freezing. Our growing season ends in October and September in some areas. Where we live, we can have killing frosts until the middle of May.

Re the GMO bs, we have been blessed with Luther Burbank’s GMO work and similiar work. None of us have grown a second green head and extra arms and legs eating his wonderful genetically modified produce.

The impossible goal of eating only local products is probably pushed by people, who love abortion and population control for the general population including the death committees coming with Obozo Care. People living in apartments and condos usually have zero arable land to grow food. So they would have to starve if we didn’t have big farms and ranches.

As much as possible! What I don't grow, we get from local sources whenever possible. You're right that there are just some things that hafta be trucked in though. My wife and I have gone back and forth over including these items in our diet, or cutting them out where possible
