For Men's Rights Groups, Feminism Has Come At The Expense Of Men
NPR ^ | 02 Sept 2014 | Joel Rose

This summer, a few hundred men and a handful of women gathered in a VFW hall near Detroit to attend what organizers billed as the first International Conference on Men's Issues.

The crowd wasn't huge, but it was enthusiastic. The event was a real-world gathering organized by the website A Voice for Men, part of an informal collection of websites, chat rooms and blogs focused on what's known as the men's rights movement. Speaker after speaker insisted that history would remember this moment.

"It's happening here. It's happening now. It's happening with us," Warren Farrell, one of the keynote speakers, told the crowd. Farrell, who published The Myth of Male Power: Why Men Are the Disposable Sex in 1993, is often described as the intellectual father of the men's rights movement.

Leaders in the movement say they want to bring more attention to the problems of men and boys. Critics worry, however, that these sites are a breeding ground for misogyny.

For his part, Farrell actually tries to avoid the phrase "men's rights."

"It's like somebody saying we're in favor of the king's rights," he says. "The average person thinks that men are already at the top of the political structure. They have all the rights, they made all the rules, [and] if anything is going wrong with men, it's their fault, because after all, it's just a consequence of men's rules."

But that perspective, Farrell says, is "just completely missing the point."

Feminism has come at the expense of women. And men. And children.

It is one of the devil’s great victories in deception and the Big Lie.

Feminist Susan Falud wrote a book about men in today's society: “Stiffed”, how men have been cheated and lied to by the feminists.

She was practically run out of town by the lefties.

I simply am not attracted to feminists.

I have denied them power over me.

That’s the only real power women have.

Pets & hobbies will have to do.

Feminism turned women into men. It's not difficult to understand why men leave their homes; Women have stolen their role and turned the male-female relationship into a CONTEST. Females have become RELENTLESSLY CONFRONTATIONAL!!!.. Who wants to put up with THAT sh*t?

Look what boys who grow up without fathers in the home has done to our White House! Can you say 'METROSEXUAL-IN-CHIEF'????!!!! Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!!

This is why Palin scares the left. She is the ultimate feminist in the true sense of the word. Married, children with a profession.

You couldn’t be more correct.

Sarah shattered that glass ceiling.

And what was the feminists response?

“Get back in the kitchen!!”

And people wonder why men love feminine women.

Maybe that is why we go crazy for skirts.

Or have went outside to none western countries for wives.

Korea, Russia etc

Modern feminism can only exist as long as there is air conditioning.

Technology has narrowed the gap between the sexes but it can all vanish in an instant. If the electric grid ever disappears men will quickly return to being men and women will return to being women. Or they will both perish.

Equality... Mao’s equality. Yes, women and men are equal if men stoop to the level of homosexual prostitutes while women are kept the same.

Sadly these men’s movement make it worse.

Amazing how that worked, eh? When met with someone who was supposed to be the kind of woman they claim to want to create, the feminists balked.

Feminism is a hate driven war against femininity. However intense the Feminist hatred of men, the true Feminist hates the feminine woman, even more. Look no further than the areas where Feminism seeks competition between the sexes; they are not the areas where women (normal women) have an advantage.

Actually, nothing could really be kookier than the idea that men & women are competing interest groups.

See Feminist Absurdity.

Saying that men can be effected by rape is something important to acknowledge, one doesn’t have to deny that women can and are victimized by this perversion, but with some of the shocking revelation about guys who have mental issues thanks to some perv raping them is important. It’s also possible that the mother can be the less competent parent. Look up the “reponse to the MRM”. Even more most of the people I have known who are for men’s rights are actually women, and often mothers as well.

Feminism in practice led to masculinization. Masculinity won. Femininity lost.

I hear that the Muslims are very respectful of the Feminists. I can’t wait until the ISIS take over the US.
