A mum-to-be who is pregnant with a convicted paedophile’s baby will have to choose between staying with her husband or her child.
The woman, from north Liverpool, is married to a former primary school teacher who was convicted in 2009 of possessing 100,000 indecent images of children.
The couple, who asked not to be named, have been told social services have a “significant and overwhelming concern” about the baby’s safety because of “the sexual risk” posed by the dad.
But Mr X, who served 15 months in prison for the offence, says he has learnt his lesson and should be given a second chance.
The 45-year-old told the Sunday ECHO: “People talk about rehabilitation and getting back into society, I’ve tried doing that and I’m getting treated like I’m a piece of scum.”

That’s my question, too. Also, this guy complains about being “treated like [] a piece of scum” - he IS scum.

Male pervs often do a good job of faking interest in adult women to cover themselves. They also are VERY adept at finding needy women with no self esteem. Most of us have known or known of those sort of women that radiate "victim" and "needy". They're the ones that call their 11 year old daughters liars when daddy (or uncle) molests them.

Exactly my thought. The very fact that she has to think about this before running away as fast as she can proves her unfit to be a good parent.
Oh yeah. Friend of my SIL fit that profile perfectly. Divorced, preteen/teen daughter, Overweight, lousy self esteem and needy. And despite being told this guy was bad news (my wife predicted he would molest the kid) she married him and denied for a long time that the kid was being molested. Took her savings too.
