I’ve been here a long time lurking and rarely post. Going back to the days of Quidam and Danny Jefferson Clinton (LOL).

My reading of threads goes way up though when the SHTF like now with the Ebola stuff. This site is an excellent news aggregator as Freepers are always first to the story.

I’d have to guess site activity has spiked since Patient Zero in Dallas hit the news a few days back. The only other times I’ve been reading FR every hour were during the second Gulf War and months after 9-11.

I survived a nasty heart attack less than a month and a 1/2 ago. Stents inside and a stint in the hospital.

Humblegunner loves to bash my son, who sometimes posts & links to articles he writes for another interesting website (ClashDaily).

“gunner” doesn’t realize that most of us just roll our eyes, & sigh, saying “there he goes again”.

I really enjoy links to other websites, particularly when there are comments after the articles, for it expands my understanding of the opinions of others around the ‘net.

DU is an exception - for they are parrots, and are probably incapable of forming opinions.
