Totally agree with you, I do the same, and there is no one posting anything on true breaking stories. I still have a problem with the "Breaking News" debate that occurred awhile back. How is breaking news 2 or 3 days old sometimes? I think the "breaking news" title needs to be renamed to something other than breaking news. This debate occurred awhile ago, and it wasn't resolved to my enjoyment of the site. Also, some really nasty Freeper responses to my comments definitely turned me off! Personal, name calling, rather than intellectual.
He had a terminal case of PDS. Dude was practically a raving nutter towards the end.
I think he got banned too.

I use FR as my jumping off point for the Internet, where I go to find out what is going on in the world.
I don’t watch television, haven’’t since about 1997. Don’t read papers. Don’t read rags like Time. Don’t listen to radio.
I come to FR every day, and investigate things from here. Normally, I would have worried about ideological tunnel vision, but it is pretty clear the way things are laid out, I am not missing anything.

I’m sorry your health has taken a hit. Getting old will kill ya’. I was holding my own until June. Then, one week, I developed a kidney infection, malaria, and dengue fever. I’m mostly over it, but I lost about 75% of my hair and my face shows the ravages of the disease.

I like both of them too, especially Sarah-which is a major sticking point with my mom who is easily brainwashed by the media. She’s slowly waking up but still hates Sarah. I’m working on it though
