Source tells me McCaskill doesn't want to be in the minority & may want to run for Missouri governor in the near future. Possible AG pick.— Matt Lewis (@mattklewis) November 5, 2014
Who do we have to fill the vacuum? Todd Akin?
Well Romney was good enough and this guy only made one goof so Party unity folks!

Absolutely not. The ideal replacement would be Sarah Palin’s endorsed candidate in the 2012 election, Mama Grizzly Sarah Steele.
sure thing and Thad Cochrane is a conservative
Likes farm animals I hear. Well it he’s OK, This dude should be fine.
I suspect that was one of the reasons Michaud run against LePage. He (Michaud) was tired of being in the House minority.
The next Missouri Governor’s election isn’t until 2016, so when would she have to leave? Next year?
I’d suspect there will be a few ‘special elections’ called soon because some dems need to spend more time with their families.
“Id suspect there will be a few special elections called soon because some dems need to spend more time with their families.”
I hope you’re right, because it won’t take much more to get a veto-proof Senate. But if that happened, Obola and Dingy Harry would enter into a suicide pact and carry it out!
He’d be good, and he’d make liberals foam at the mouth.
Bummer.
Seriously though, I’ll bet the Boxer/Feinstein types will suddenly find better things to do. They are not going to want to be in country if Gowdy and Cruz push hard.
Does Thad Cochran even know that he was running for re-election, let alone that he won?
What we need to do is persuade Obama to appoint Democrat Senators to fill jobs that will be vacant — Democrats Senators from red states, or at least states with Republican governors.
Do you suppose there’s a job for Ben Cardin?
ba da bing
Thad’s been asking his staff all day why President Reagan still hasn’t called to congratulate him on his reelection.
I’d love to see him appoint barking moonbats. The more insane the better. It wouldn’t remotely be out of character and those types are the only support he seems to have left.
Dangerous? Not really because they will quickly set the remaining Dems at their throats trying to shut their calls for amnesty down, their calls for all the really out there things down. The GOP would not need to do anything, which they do well now so we need not rely on their input at all. And in total collapse, the party implodes perhaps forever.
“Seriously though, Ill bet the Boxer/Feinstein types will suddenly find better things to do.”
Yeah, Columnist Burt Prelutsky recenty opined that “the last time we saw the likes of Boxer, Fineswine, Pelousey and Maxine Waters,” they were stirring the caldron as the curtain went up on MacBeth!”
I wonder if any of the Boxer/Pigsty voters ever actually saw them. or listened to them speak. Real horrorshow. It’s like the brides of Frankenstein filled with Hitler’s brains.
Insane power lust, no intelligence and arrogant beyond anything I could ever fake for laughs. And that attracts them to vote? I guess it does. For 2 decades.
A Democrat would be appointed until the next election in 2 years. Blunt is also up for election in 2 years.
