I think we’ll need a ‘unity’ GOP ticket.
Paul’s probably the best of the GOPe candidates.
With Cruz, Lee, DeMint or the like at the top the GOP could be united.
Of course the media is doing it’s best to screw this up.
Nope. The enemy of my enemy is sometimes merely my other enemy.
Social issues are not up for compromise.
Rand Paul is a clone of his dad on social issues and open borders.
Actually, he reminds me too much of DWS with his hairdo. I know that sounds trite and petty, but damn - I just can’t fight the feeling that somebody oughta wash that mayonnaise outta his head.
Rand does seem to make an effort to not only insult and denigrate conservatism to the media, but to deliver them very good anti-conservative sound bites that they can use against us.
exactly
Cute, but wrong.
So a governor who is a socialist (any RAT) or a RINO (Perry) is better than a senator that reveres the Constitution (Cruz) ??
I think the first criteria should be someone who reveres the Constitution and believes strongly in limited government.
Cruz would easily veto spending bills that most RINO Governors would sign.
Cruz sees government as a necessary EVIL, Perry and many others see it as a inherent good.
That, and they’re going to spend the money they raise on fighting each other. Whoever puts-together enough delegates to win the nomination will come out of the process battered, bruised, and broke.
Meanwhile, Hillary and her Democrat-subservient media goons will be on the sidelines taking potshots throughout the whole process. She’ll exit her process with a full warchest, ready to hit the airwaves early so that she can define/defile the GOP nominee before the campaign hits high gear. (That is.. assuming she doesn’t stroke-out before it’s all over.)
We’ve gotta unite early. It’s our best shot.
ok but remember Rand is his daddy’s little boy...........
You mean the 'nutball' pick. The nut didn't fall far from the tree for this one.
” Who didnt see this coming?”
“” U N E X P E C T E D “”
Senator Rand Paul is reportedly planning to launch his campaign for the Republican nomination for president next Spring.
LOL.
Yes, entirely unexpected!
