Can Ted Cruz run for president if he was born in Canada?

The Republican senator from Texas says he can. And just to be sure, he’s taking the extra step of renouncing the Canadian citizenship he says he didn’t even know he had.

Cruz -- full name: Rafael Edward Cruz --was born in Canada in 1970 because his father was working for the oil industry there. The senator’s recently released birth certificate shows his mother was born in Delaware and his father was born in Cuba. The Cruz family left Canada a few years later. Cruz grew up in Texas and graduated from high school there, later attending Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

he better be. He's the only Regan-like politician in the political world right now that I'm at all interested in voting for.

You’re not supposed to ask/debate this question on FR. Per the management.

Ah, so because their guy ignores the Constitution it's ok for our guy to do so?
I suppose that mentality explains why ObamaCare is terrible but the War on Drugs isn't. (Both have the same terrible legal justifications.)

since we know that if he makes any headway against Hillary the media will (hypocritically), beat the drums nonstop about that, the question is, why bother? we cant find someone who was born here?
Romney was flawed because some evangelicals wouldn’t vote for him. now we go down the flawed road again?

Please provide the relevant sections of the U.S. Constitution that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.

Lacking that, Please provide the relevant sections of U.S. Federal Law that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.

Lacking that, Please provide the relevant rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court that clearly and unambiguously define "Natural Born" as requiring two U.S. Citizens at birth.

You won't because you can't because they don't exist anywhere except in your mind(opinion) and in sources that are not legal or constitutional in nature.

Nothing in the Constitution, US Law, or Supreme Court rulings defines "Natural Born" as requiring two US Citizens at birth.

Do you really think that any ACTUAL conservative is going to be given a pass by the media?

Mitt Romney lost because his policies of supporting Abortion and the Gay Agenda, coupled with his Progressive Liberal background, coupled with his refusal to actually fight against Obama made him not only untenable to actual conservatives, but made him a lackluster candidate for everyone else.

Don't blame conservatives, blame who was responsible, ROMNEY!
