James “Jimmy Frank” Robertson passed away over the weekend from a sudden and unexpected heart attack.
Robertson was the brother of Phil and Si Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” fame as well as a veteran journalist and author of “The Legend of the Duck Commander,” a biography of Phil.
He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
A statement on Phil Robertson’s Facebook page requested prayer for the family.
“Phil & Si’s brother, Jimmy Frank, passed away this weekend,” it read, according to the Gospel Herald. “Please pray for Connie his wife, their sons & families.
“It’s tough to lose such a wonderful man so quickly, he had a heart attack. It will hard on them this week & for a long time after the funeral. Pray for strength for all of them.”
Si Robertson also asked for prayer on his Facebook page.
“Please pray for our family during this time,” he wrote, the Gospel Herald reported. “We do have hope, but it will still be hard. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-15.”

Oh my...that is so sad...I will pray for Phil and his family today.
Even though we know that as Christians, we have that Blessed Assurance of uniting with our loved ones later on, we still feel the loss terribly.
I minister to Bikers, and last week our church lost FIVE people. We are still reeling over that one.
Prayers to the family. It just occurred to me that Sadie must have known this but still danced beautifully on Monday and Tuesday Night. What a strong girl. Great job coming in second place Sadie! Our family voted for you week after week. Alfonzo was fine too so no spoil sport here in this family. But you did great!!!!

Prayers to this wonderful family who have done so much through charity work to help others, help our troops and those in need. They have inadvertently helped society in showing that Christian lifestyles and family values still exist, even in show business.
They have also used their wealth and fame to tirelessly promote the word of God and Christian family values.
