I’m a lot older than Michelle Antoinette and I’m more fit than she is and no extra weight-but unlike her, I actually do physical work and I’m not stuffing my face with everything her chef knows how to make-and we pay for...
Come to think of it, once they move to Hawaii, the WH food budget will probably be cut in half just because she isn’t eating there...
Much more-she was no fragile flower.
Thanks-the customer says he likes the price, so maybe we’ll get the job. It is just a little patio with a textured stucco surround, but we need every tiny job to just break even and keep food on our tables.

It is nice of you to say so-there were plenty of the really small jobs-which are all we do-out here until the snowbirds and tourists had no jobs or money and the economy went to hell-now we have no jobs and no money. In better times, the tiny jobs are plentiful, because no one else wants to be bothered with interacting and working with a working class customer who doesn’t have a lot of money to spend-I like to because it is a chance to be really creative, and good customer service makes referrals...
They won’t keep a bigger company going, but a subcontractor or two can make enough to keep body and soul together, and it is much less hassle than big jobs.
