Vedder wrote "pro choice" on his arm in magic marker during Pearl Jam's MTV Unplugged show back in the early 90's. Literally one of the more inexplicable things I have ever seen. Of all the things he could have written on his arm to appear deep and introspective (assuming you were inclined to do that), he chooses "pro choice". What an ass.

Being so-called “Pro-Choice” is a subtle way of pointing out how one feels about Judeo-Christianity. It’s basically saying “I’m an atheist” without having to say those exact words.

The abortion issue is really a proxy for something much much deeper.
