Well, that is certainly in bad taste and deserving of neighborhood scorn.

HOWEVER...

I think it's a violation of private property rights for an agent of the state to order ANYONE to stop their free exercise of religion on their own property when it does no harm.

Am I to assume that it is a violation of local maintenance codes for ANY religious displays on private property in that hellhole of a locality???

Will they be ordering everyone with a nativity scene to take theirs down too?

He has to take his display down by December 26th.
He can still p@ss of Christians on Christmas if that is what he wishes to do.

Agreed. Sounds like this guy has a First Amendment case against the city.
