"Quarterback Tom Brady is scheduled to meet with the media on Thursday at approximately 4 p.m."
Tom is going to say that he told "someone" the balls seemed a little on the hard side.
He doesn't know if anyone did anything to the balls.
The NFL cannot find anyone responsible for doing this.
The NFL knows this is a non-issue and will fine the Patriots $75,000 (what the rule book calls for ball tampering).
Rules committee will recommend Refs/Umps be in charge of all game-day footballs for next year (similar to MLB).
Let's just play some football.

Well that settles that issue. Oops I thought this was something about Obama.

1. Is there a video of the incident?
2. Did the league receive a copy of the video?
3. Did the league watch the video?
4. Was Ray Rice involved?
5. Can we work Michael Sam into this?

This kind of reminds me of the mobsters in “On the Waterfront”, where the boss testified that all of his accounting records were stolen in a break in the night before the court hearing. He doesn’t know where they went.

Really, that’s about the only thing he COULD say about it.
To speak about it at any level would indicate that he personally involves himself in how the footballs are handled/inflated.
It’s funny how he sort of took the 0bama strategy by saying that he first heard about it along with everyone else - from the media the next morning. (paraphrasing)
The Limbaugh Theorem applied to an NFL scandal! LOL!!

So a deflated ball is easier to catch? Okay.
Can someone please explain to me how it favors one team more than the other.
When is one team's ball used and when is the other team's ball put in play?

It’s interesting because most of the side chatter on this coming from players is that indeed the balls are left up to the QB and hopefully he doesn’t do anything illegal and nobody really cares. But of course with the Pats and Belichick being such a control freak it’s hard to truly accept he just let’s Brady do whatever he wants. But everybody else seems to do that. But Belichick...

Read an article yesterday where John Madden, who is part of an advisory board that works with the NFL commissioner, said that it's entirely possible Belichick didn't know about the deflated game balls. Madden went on to say there would be no way Brady could not have known ...
Bring Josh McDaniels Brady's QB coach into the picture, who has a track record of gaming the system, and I think Madden is on to something ...

How much were these balls supposedly deflated? If the normal inflation is 13 psi a drop in temperature could easily account for a small variation in pressure due to Charles Law ...temperature and pressure are directly related. I would think that a significant drop in pressure might affect the shape of the ball making its aerodynamic properties different. The deflated ball might be easier for a quarterback to grasp, but would it fly straight?

I just watched the press conference and coach Bill was not having a good time - my guess is the ball boy tried to help the team or Brady told him to do so.
