Hitler Said to Have Been Inspired by U.S. Indian Reservation System

FULL TITLE: Ugly Precursor to Auschwitz: Hitler Said to Have Been Inspired by U.S. Indian Reservation System

It was 70 years ago today that the imprisoned and starved and viciously battered victims of Hitler and his Nazi thugs were liberated by Soviet troops.

Hitler – the coward, who’d later commit suicide rather than face the music – was incontrovertibly one of the world’s most brutal and bloodthirsty bastards to ever walk the globe.

Yet, little is it known that he was also a plagiarizer.

The idea of a prison camp – specifically Auschwitz, in Oświęcim, Poland – where Hitler's soldiers could shoot, hang, poison, mutilate and starve men, women and children en mass was not an idea Hitler, the bigot, came up with on his own. In fact, the Pulitzer-Prize winning biographer John Toland wrote that Hitler was inspired in part by the Indian reservation system – a creation of the United States.

“Hitler's concept of concentration camps as well as the practicality of genocide owed much, so he claimed, to his studies of English and United States history,” Toland wrote in his book, Adolf Hitler: The Definitive Biography. “He admired the camps for Boer prisoners in South Africa and for the Indians in the wild west; and often praised to his inner circle the efficiency of America's extermination—by starvation and uneven combat—of the red savages who could not be tamed by captivity.”

Seems to me that the nazis were largely inspired by American progressives of the early 1900s.

My understanding is that indians were free to leave their reservations and join society whenever they wanted. Many did.

What they weren't allowed to do is live uncontrolled as nomadic tribes in a modern landscape.

The modern death camp was invented by Lenin and super sized by Stalin. These two were Hitler’s real role models.

“and often praised to his inner circle the efficiency of America’s extermination”

Another leftist rewriting of history to attack our nation and culture.

Hitler got the idea from Stalin and his Gulags.

"Hitler – the coward"

Hitler was many things, but not a coward in the classic sense of the word. During WW1 he was awarded,

Iron Cross, First Class - 4 August 1918

Iron Cross, Second Class - 12 February 1915

Bavarian Cross of Military Merit, Third Class with Swords - 17 September 1917

Bavarian Medal of Military Service, Third Class - 25 August 1918

Regimental Diploma (Regiment "List") - 5 May 1918

Wound Badge in Black - 18 May 1918

It is nonsense.

In fact, it is much, much more likely that the Nazis drew inspiration from the Centration Camps created by the British during the Boer War.

Germans at the time were outraged at the British — and that outrage led to their willingness to “push the envelope” during WWI.

Either way - they both are genocidal extremes cut from the same cloth designed for the same evil purpose.

I think this was already made up by Howard Zinn.

The left plagiarizing the left. Priceless.

The Indian Reservation System is stupid. The right thing to do would have been to admit that the Indian Nations had been conquered and almost wiped out, make all American Indians automatically American citizens, same as you and me, and drop the stupid idea of “sovereign nations” within a sovereign nation with a different set of laws and rules.

I read that Hitler got the idea of concentration camps from the English, who put the Afrikaners into concentration camps during the Boer war. I also read that as a boy Hitler and other German kids liked to play cowboys and Indians like American kids did. The American Indians also used the a symbol identical to the swastika.

Everyone knows that John Toland was a favorite member of Hitler's inner circle and was in a perfect position to report the content of those private conversations.

Plus there are all those historical accounts of German citizens driving all the way out to Sobibor and Treblinka to buy tax-free cigarettes and liquor, and to play slots and bingo.

Hitler was many things, but not a coward in the classic sense of the word.

Since Hitler denied God, he was a coward. Only weak, cowardly people are unable to face the reality of Almighty God. In fact, all atheists are cowards.

The progressives of America were pimping eugenics, seperatism, social manipulation and all things progressive long before most people in Germany had ever heard of Adolph Hitler. One of those progressives was Wilsonian propagandist Edward Bernays.

The engineering of consent is the very essence of the democratic process, the freedom to persuade and suggest.

-Edward Bernays

Goebbels was using my book Crystallizing Public Opinion as a basis for his destructive campaign against the Jews of Germany. This shocked me.
