When I lived in NH, there was no trash pick up, the fire department would not come out as far as my house, and private contractors plowed the road. And the property taxes amounted to a percent of my income MORE than my property taxes and income taxes in MA.
When they talk about a tax heaven, be sure you do the math.
Or some knucklehead tossing his butt into the trash can.
Or a faulty engine block heater.
Had that happen once. Got a new garage and truck. And a nice premium bill.
I think Tijeras Slim has one of those ..... He can travel.....:o)
Nah, got a neighbor with a blade on a tractor... About 11:00 he get’s antsy and plows the whole road and the drive of anyone who’s gate is open.
We have rare snows so deep plows are needed , 14 to 22 inches maybe once a winter is worst I have experienced. Our population is 2500 and threat here is winds combined with snow....drifts are the results. We have every state, county and city large vehicle fitted with a plow or blade along with snow chains. Just keeps our local roads clean and clear in such events......
Stay safe !
That’s a good neighbor...... He not from NM ?....:o)
There’s no ‘taxpayer funded’ trash pick-up; but there are PLENTY of independent contractors...I have my trash picked up every week, and I am defiinitely in a rural area, with bobcats and the occasional ‘mountain lion’ roaming the area.
The state crapitol of Red Hampshire is SEIU headquarters.
Oh, I paid $20 a month for pick up back in 1988.
I know a lot of places don’t have town pick up. But my town had virtually nothing. Except a tax collector! Ha Ha.
