GOP Presidential preference in New Hampshire and Iowa

Posted on 02/08/2015 6:34:51 PM PST by iowamark

I just saw this interesting graph on Twitter comparing recent polls in NH and Iowa. Scott Walker and Rand Paul are the two who do best in both states, although only around 15%. Jeb and Christie are popular in liberal NH while social conservatives Ben Carson and Huckster have fans in Iowa. The others, like Cruz, are off to a slower start. I can testify that Ted Cruz has no organization yet in Iowa, although several others have been hard at work already.

Bush will fade like a November flower. Cruz and Paul ascend. Walker is now under scrutiny and it wont be easy. I like Dr. Ben Carson!!

Who gives a flyin’ frick what they think in two of the smallest states in the country???

What is it with New Hampshire??? In what alternative reality line are THOSE people representative of conservative, Republican thought???

And Iowa: they’ve got what, one more electoral vote than Alaska???

Both are open primaries done on purpose so the e GOP option wins thru Dem voters operatives.

Think about it.

Why are ex-Mass lefty Dems allowed to cross over to pick in the GOP primary to ensure the biggest loser wins!

New Hampshire has one more than Alaska.

Alaska has 3, NH has 4, and Iowa has 6 (it had 7 until the 2010 census).

We had a thread about Ted Cruz beginning his Iowa campaign. I still have it on my computer.

He gave out a number, a word, and told everybody to text the word to the number.

I have not heard a word about what kind of response they got, but from the applause, I’d be interested to find out, so I’ll probably go ahead and text.
