CONROE, Texas - A Houston-area man has been accused of dragging a donkey behind his vehicle as other drivers called 911 to report the apparent animal abuse.
Montgomery County jail records show 21-year-old Nasim Irsan was being held Monday on a charge of cruelty to livestock animals.
Online jail records do not list bond or an attorney for Irsan, who was booked Saturday night into the jail in Conroe.
Deputies responding to reports of a pickup truck dragging a donkey located the moving vehicle and rescued the animal, which had a rope around its neck. The rope was tied to the vehicle's trailer hitch.
Irsan was arrested as authorities took custody of the donkey, which officials say did not appear to have serious injuries.
The sheriff's department didn't immediately return messages Monday.

I dissagree. That scene was hilarious for the following reasons:
The dog was mean and hated everybody. (Bite him back, Rusty).
It was a furtunate/unfortunate accident spurred by the fact that the dog was difficult to work with. (What's that sound?
Grandma's reaction initially to Clark getting pulled over... (and later "...You should be behind bars!")
The cop's reaction and Clark's feined misery at the thought of the pooch keeping up for the first couple miles...
I'm sorry, it's a fictional movie. They didn't kill a dog during the making. The premise is funny and the scene is pure comedic gold. The whole movie is a classic.
