If you had told me this five years ago. when I was a drugged-out homeless vet trapped in the VA system, I would have told you without equivocation, there is no god.

It might have to do with the differences between the lunar/Hebrew calendar and the solar/Gregorian.
The last shemittah year was Jewish year 5768 (13 Sept 2007 - 29 Sept 2008)

In the latter half of the program, President of eBible Fellowship Ministries, Chris McCann, detailed the discovery of biblical evidence that indicates October 7th of this year, the final day of the Feast of Tabernacles, could be the physical end of the world. He argued that Harold Camping’s end of the world prediction of May 21, 2011 was not an incorrect prophecy because “we’ve discovered that it was actually Judgment Day as God indicated it would be.” To that end, McCann explained that “it was a spiritual judgment rather than a physical judgment” and, thus, the prediction only appeared to be in error since it was not overtly obvious to the world. “The Biblical evidence is that we were correct concerning Judgment Day,” he claimed, “regarding the nature of the judgment, we were off.”
In light of this assessment, he argued that the term ‘Judgment Day’ is a misnomer since it is not a single event, but a “prolonged period of time.” Based on numerical information contained in the Bible, McCann surmised that this period likely lasts 1,600 days and, therefore, would seem to culminate on 10/7/2015, when the world will literally come to an end. He stressed that this timetable is not based on dreams or visions and, instead, is reliant on biblical insights which were previously hidden by God but are now becoming clearer as Judgment Day nears. Should the world not come to an end on October 7th, McCann’s next course of action would be to “keep looking to the Bible” for clues as to when Judgment Day will arrive.

For those of you who are already Christians, the book gives you scientific evidence you can use to answer questions from those who question you about the existence of God.
About being a Christian: I am fed up with Obama’s Muslim crap and Christians are being murdered in horrific ways and even in our own country now, Christians are being thrown under the bus. I have determined to do something about this - I have a necklace chain with a cross on it and have determined to wear it every day to show I am a Christian. We went to a Christian bookstore and bought label pins with a cross on them, and are wearing those every day. I think we need to show everyone we are Christians and proud of it.
We are in a prayer group and I brought this up in that group and now they are all wearing a cross around their neck and/or wearing a pin.
I ask all you Christians to do the same - show you are one to all with whom you come in contact and try to get other Christians to do that also.

Marcella, I’m a bit of an old lady, but I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a very small cross tattooed somewhere that isn’t instantly visible but there, nevertheless. I am not ashamed to be a Christian.

This shows how successful the mass indoctrination through the government indoctrination centers (public schools) and the continuing education through the msm has been.

For well over 50 years the Federal Government has been doing virtually everything than can to “Protect” people from having to suffer any hardships.
A few years ago I was talking with my 21 yo daughter about why people are so willfully ignorant and so entrenched in their views.
At one point I asked her “What would it take to change a persons Worldview?”
She shot back in an instant “Crisis”.
If the crises this and many other authors begins to play out, I suspect there will be many seemingly brain dead people that will find God very quickly.
There are no atheists in foxholes.
