In 2010, according to Veterinary Pet Insurance Co., there were many remarkable items removed from dogs’ stomachs. Among the 16 steel wool pads, jumper cables, an extension cord, and eyeglasses, was this list:

Jellyfish
Tube of denture adhesive
Tent door
Plastic nose from teddy bear
Baseball
Glass Christmas ornament
Hearing aid
Box of pencils
Watch
Light bulb
Barbecue brush
Frisbee
Pin cushion
TV remote control
Fire log
Pine cone
Rosary crucifix

The dog must have been impatient. Couldn’t pass the time.

After becoming tired of “It’s time for a bath”, Mocha devised a plan.

This dog is like a Timex watch. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

Let's wind up this thread.

At least he's going to be ok.

He could have wound up as just another "dead ringer".

"She had somehow managed to open a drawer, go inside and pull out three watches and some assorted pieces of leather jewelry

Well that's a relief. I was expecting a report that the police were still looking for the arms they were attached to.........

Here's another true story for ‘ya:

My significant other (SO), when he was a teen ager, had a pet crow. The crow would go to his window on the second floor, and SO would open the window so they could converse and SO would feed him.

During those days before air conditioning, women would wash dishes AFTER they placed their wedding rings on the open window sill. Mr. Crow would steal these rings and take them to his nest. They would call SO’s father and SO would climb the tree and take the rings out of the nest and deliver them back to the women. This happened all the time.

SO’s father held a prominent position in the town as he was the local undertaker/coroner and he wasn't happy the crow was causing ill will from the local ladies without their wedding rings until SO could get them back to them.

SO went to summer camp and when he got back, his mom said, “The crow flew away.” Sure, he did. SO is sure his father got rid of the crow so the stealing of wedding rings would stop.

Any Apple watches? It might be useful to keep the GPS tracker in him.

We were given some ducks when we were young. Very loud noisy ducks that apparently kept the neighbors up at night. We trimmed their wings so they couldn’t fly away. Wouldn’t you know it, those wings grew back in just a couple of days and they were gone.
