My guess is that this new, timely ‘revelation’ is meant to assuage and encourage that group that indeed ‘things are getting better for us’.
If that’s so, how come a pound of hamburger is $6-7 for a lean cut or gas is at $2.58/gal today my area (at $1.86/gal when Obama elected?)
Milk, butter, eggs, bread, meat, the whole damn ball of wax...more, more, more. BUT! You can buy cereal and chips for the same price and package size! Great! Just don’t look at the net weight of what’s in it.
I’m pretty much down to grocery shopping once a day or two nearby getting meats and such that are at the “sell by” dates just to cut some slack in the food for “still-working Wifey” for when she gets home at night.
