These must be very troubling and frustrating times for you, homophobes. A majority of Americans now support marriage equality, and face it, if it’s not fully recognized where you live yet, it will be and soon. A majority of us also support gay political candidates, and we seem to be able to watch gay people on television and movies and listen to them as we drive around in post breakup sadness without the fabric of society crumbling — probably because if you look across the population, it’s composed entirely of people who either are LGBT or who know someone who is.
And yet, bless your tenacious, confused, chilly little hearts, some of you still don’t get it. And you just cannot stop talking about it. Drivers in the Detroit metro area this week were surprised — some of them stunned enough to pull over — when they saw a billboard that showed a picture of a woman who was “born Asian” and a rainbow-striped man who was “not born this way” and the message that “Homosexuality is a behavior. Not a civil right.” Obviously, there are bible verses involved. It’s the work of a charmingly low production values site called Restrain the Judges. It promises, “In order to prevent the Roe v. Wade of Marriage, we must act now” and urges visitors to mail politicians “to use the authority granted by the U.S. Constitution to restrain federal judges and the Supreme Court from undermining marriage any further!”
Why? Because the organization says, “The homosexual agenda brings with it an unprecedented assault on religious liberty and freedom of conscience against pastors, churches, business and facility owners, employees, public officials, organizations, ministries, and citizens.” You know, blah blah blah AGENDA...

Saying something with lots of emotion and anger doesn’t make it true. Truth is truth regardless of feelings. Homsexuality is a behavior plus an emotion. But it is a complete denial of reality.
It is a real stretch to compare the homo to the polygamist. Herd behavior is the norm across many species. Last time I checked there are no diseases associated with polygamy, nor is there a shortened lifespan. Male queers are in a disgusting and diseased league of their own.
Yep and criminal behavior is genetic too dontchaknow. Just ask my Penology instructor.

Homosexuality is nothing but a chosen behavior! Any person can choose not to indulge in a sexual act at any time, be it normal or perverse. That makes it a behavior. To say otherwise is just dumb. It is said for the purpose of propaganda.
The idea that homosexuals are born that way is ludicrous. When growing, they may develop an inclination that way but it is changeable. They just choose not to change it.
So a guy that is a pyromaniac gets off on burning things is “born that way” and should be allowed to practice his “love”, after all, it’s not “behavior,” right? If he loves fire, and acts on it, he’s ACTING on it. If he knows the law frowns on pyromania being PRACTICED, then he can not act on his impulses and instincts.
It’s all a matter of choice. What you CHOOSE to act on.

Well, being an uneducated redneck I really dunno about this stuff, but when I see a feller taken into the ER at San Francisco General with a cowboy boot sticking out of his butt, I don’t think he was born that way. Maybe it’s just me.
My self, I always thought it would be nice to be an insane Islamic Nit Whit. Then I wouldn't have to worry about what the hell I believed in or how demented and simplistic my belief system is. It's all good with Allah Doody Ding Dong.

I was not born a Christian, I chose to follow the Lord instead of satan. Sodomites deliberately and brazenly choose to disobey God and honor satan. It's that simple and that plain. Scientists -- a good percentage of whom are atheistic commies -- can't understand logic and common sense for they lack wisdom and discernment.
They refer to themselves as 'queer'...who am I to argue?

Thank you! And I applaud you and many other FReepers in this thread for steadfastly refusing to use the word "gay" as it applies to the abomination of homosexuality. We Conservatives must take America back to its Biblical foundation. And part of that effort involves reclaiming the language. Take it from one who was in a gay marriage for some 40 years until my beautiful wife (whom I met at a Christian college) passed on to be with Jesus.
