This would be great. I could finally smash my computer against the wall when it crashes and go get a new one for the price of a subway sandwich.

Years ago, there was an initiative to build a sub-$100 PC that could be distributed in the Third World to lift up the most poor and remote areas of the world.

What ever happened to that?

$9 for a credit-card size computer? That sounds like a calculator you can get in the check-out aisle at Safeway!

I initially thought this was a scam (or at least a bit) but after reading and some exploration, this can be a magic moment! The capabilities and such small size make this an enormous advance in computing (not capability but access by mankind).

After see this on TV and reading about its capability, I am sold! This will have a major influence on humanity!

I just wish that I was younger and had the money to invest in this...wow!

I actually poo-poo’ed this in an earlier post before I understood just how important this is going to be...geez!
